This past weekend, my family visited Central Oregon. We decided to go for a hike Sunday morning out at the picturesque Smith Rock State Park. It was a beautiful, cold, clear day for a hike. We attacked the challenging, Misery Ridge Loop Trail, and made it all the way to the top. Instead of going back down the way we hiked up, we decided to go down the back side and caught a view of the famous "Monkey Face Rock." It was very slippery on the way down and I think almost all of us slipped and fell on our behind at some point. Enjoy the photos and video from our hike. It was a fun, healthy way to spend one of our last days of 2013!
